K.B. Wagers is a 32-year-old writer with a second-degree black belt in Shao Lin Kung Fu, a predilection for sharp, shiny weapons, and an insatiable need to read -- a habit that her parents encouraged from a very young age.

She currently lives in Colorado Springs, Colo., with her Air Force husband and five cats.

Her current projects include the fantasy series "Chronicles of the White Rose Knights"; a science-fiction series titled "Reluctant Heroes"; an urban fantasy series about dragons and firefighters called "Blackline," and a dark erotic novel called "The Ripple Effect."

When not writing, Katy can be found practicing her kung fu, jumping over things (aka Parkour), watching Supernatural, or spending time with her family.
