K.B. Wagers is a 34-year-old writer with a second-degree black belt in Shao Lin Kung Fu, a predilection for sharp, shiny weapons, and an insatiable need to read — a habit that her parents encouraged from a very young age.

She currently lives in Colorado Springs, Colo., with her Air Force husband, five cats, and a BatBitch awesome roomie.

Her current projects include a Machiavellian space-epic called "Behind the Throne" and a dark urban-fantasy titled "Demon Son" involving a band of half-demon rock stars.

When not writing, Katy can be found practicing her kung fu, jumping over things (aka Parkour), spending time with her family or making coffee at the local Starbucks.
